Composition of Lidocaine Ointment USP, 5%: acetamide, 2-(diethylamino)-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-, (lidocaine) 5% in a water miscible ointment vehicle containing polyethylene glycol 300 and polyethylene glycol 1450.
